New websites
A standard site has a home page, about, what you do, contact with a form, privacy and a 404 page, plus whatever your business needs: events, a gallery, testimonials, questions and answers, a team page, opening hours, service areas or a price list.
We agree the brief first: your words (or notes we can write from), photos, logo, domain and email. Then we build: within days your site is on its own server for you to review, and once you're happy it goes live. Every site comes with the admin, the email, the hosting and the care described below.
Online shops
Shops are built through our online-shop arm, Go Headless, on Medusa and Astro: an open-source shop engine and a fast storefront, running on a server you control rather than a platform that charges by the month and owns your data.
We move shops off Shopify and WooCommerce, keep every old web address working, and connect the shop to your till (Lightspeed, Loyverse and others) so stock and prices stay right without anyone retyping them.
Hosting and care
Each site runs on its own small, hardened server, with nothing from any other client on it. Security updates install themselves, encrypted backups run every night to a second location and are test-restored, and we're told the moment the site stops answering.
The care plan covers the server, updates, backups, monitoring, small changes and support. We also look after existing sites, including WordPress ones, and move them onto better hosting when it makes sense.
Email on your domain
A business email address that matches your website looks right and is yours to keep. We set up mailboxes and aliases on your domain, with spam filtering and webmail, and they work in any mail app on your phone or computer.
We handle the setup, new starters and leavers, password resets and moving your old email across. If your team needs shared calendars and documents too, we set up and manage Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 instead.
Speed and search
A slow site loses visitors before it has loaded, and Google notices. We measure where the time goes, fix what matters (usually images, fonts and scripts loaded from other companies) and add the structured data that helps search engines show your business properly.
We also make sure your name, address and phone number match on your website, your Google Business Profile and the main directories, which is what local search runs on.

How can you build a site in under a week?
Because the hard parts are already done. Every site uses the same tested foundation (the GWD Site Kit), so the slow, fragile bits have been designed out in advance and the time goes on your words, photos and design. The one condition is a complete brief: we chase anything missing before we start, not during.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes. Every site has a simple admin at your own web address where you change text, photos, events and business details from a phone or computer. Changes go live in seconds, every change can be undone, and there's nothing you can do in it that breaks the design or slows the site down.
Do I need to buy hosting separately?
No. Hosting is part of the care plan: your own small server, security updates, nightly backups, monitoring and support. You own your domain name and your content; we look after everything else.
I already have a website. Can you move it?
Usually, yes. We'll look at what you have and tell you honestly whether it's worth rebuilding, improving or just moving to better hosting. When a site is rebuilt we keep every old web address working, so nothing is lost from Google.
Do you use WordPress?
Not for new sites. WordPress needs constant plugin updates and is hard to keep fast; our sites are pre-built pages with no moving parts on the public side. We do look after existing WordPress sites for clients who are happy with them.
Will there be a cookie banner?
No. Our sites set no cookies on public pages and load nothing from other companies, so there's nothing to ask your visitors to consent to. If you want visitor numbers, we can add cookie-free analytics.
