Greens Horticulture

A grow shop moved off Shopify onto its own server, with stock kept in step with the till every ten minutes.

The Greens Horticulture shop home page: a search bar, product menus and a grow-room photo with a sale banner

Greens Horticulture is a hydroponics and grow shop in Bristol. Their Shopify store was paying a monthly platform fee for a slow site that was hard to keep in step with the shop's till.

Through our online-shop arm, Go Headless, the shop was rebuilt on Medusa and Astro on a server of its own. Stock levels sync from the Lightspeed till every ten minutes, product images were cut by three quarters without losing quality, and every one of the 1,696 old Shopify addresses lands on a live page in one hop, so nothing was lost from Google.
